Book Review- A House in the Sky

When I was a kid (before college), I read on average 2 books a week-mystery novels were where it was at. Then college came along and there was no time for fun reading because you had to make time for fun drinks and not so fun studying. But now that i'm an ADULT - lololol gets me everytime- and I spend a little over 1.5 hours each day on the subway, I thought it was time to get back into reading.

Chasing Fire and Ice- An Iceland adventure!

It's been exactly 11 days since I got back from my iceland trip. That's how many days it took me to recover from my "vacation" and have the strength to pull words out to blog about it. I put vacation in quotes because vacations are usually relaxing and entails lounging on the beach with copious amounts of alcohol in hand. Instead I was trudging through snow, battling a cold, fighting jet lag, hiking around. So nope, this was not a vacation...THIS WAS AN ADVENTURE.

It's here! It's finally here! Vacation!

After 5 months of work, tomorrow i'm taking my first grown-up vacation ever! And it's going to be an icelandic adventure!

What Living in NYC is Really LIke...

Although i started off the new year promising myself to blog more, it's only until a month after that I'm starting to post a new entry.... fail. But really, 2015 new years resolution: blog more.

So in commemoration of having lived in nyc for 4 months now and to start off the first entry of 2015, here's what i expected from living in NYC when i first moved in vs. what life is really like for a broke 25 year old female:

He Just Doesn't Get Her

Couples fighting is so awkward yet so hilarious. It's amazing and funny how humans interact, especially from a third party perspective. But in the end, fighting is a bunch of miscommunication and misunderstanding and confusion about how a person can't be exactly like you. My neighbors (i believe unmarried) fight all the time.
